All 7-12th grade band members need to be at the band hall by 5:50 PM, Friday, Sept. 24, for the home football game. Wear band t-shirt and jeans. 🎶

A few LC Reminders to be aware of: 1. There will be no school tomorrow, September 24th, for the students. It is a scheduled full-day staff development day for the staff only. 2. Our Homecoming pep rally will take place today, starting around 12:38 in the big gym. 3. We have a district volleyball game here tomorrow afternoon against Big Sandy. The start time has been moved up to around 4:00. Good luck Lady Lions!! 4. The Homecoming Ceremony will start at 6:15 tomorrow evening on the football field. 5. The High School football team will have a home game here tomorrow night against Trinidad. Kickoff will be at 7:00 PM. Good luck Lions!

Picture day is coming! Save the date: Friday, October 1, starting around 8:30 in the auditorium. Pre-K - 12, seniors will take cap and gown pictures, and all staff. Order forms are going out today. If you did not order a 2021 Yearbook, no worries. We still have plenty of books for sale. The price is $40. If you need copies of past yearbooks contact me for some special deals.

Our Varsity Football Team will have their first game of the season tonight at Longview Christian Heritage. Kickoff will be at 7:30 PM. This is a later kickoff time that was originally on the schedule. The address is 2715 FM 1844 Longview. If you are planning to attend, they did let us know that you will need to bring lawn chairs. COVID-19 Update as of 9-13-2021 The following positive case has been reported to us as of today’s date: 1. A parent of an elementary student called and notified the school today that their child tested positive outside of school over the weekend. The student did not report to school today. The student was last at school as of Friday, September 10th.

A couple sports updates from LC for today: 1. Our HS football game that was scheduled to be played tomorrow afternoon (Saturday) against Fannindel has been cancelled. Fannindel called us this week to let us know they have had to cancel the game. For this reason, there will be no pep rally today as well. 2. Our Lady Lions volleyball team will play their first district match this afternoon against Union Grove. The game will be played here and will get started at 4:30. Good luck to our Lady Lions.

Our JH volleyball team will have a match this afternoon at Overton. The start time has moved up to 4:00 PM. If you were planning to go, we just wanted to remind you of the new start time. Good luck to our JH Lady Lions.

COVID-19 Update as of 9-8-2021 The following positive case has been reported to us as of today's date: 1. A parent of a high school student called and notified the school today that their child tested positive outside of school today. The student was last at school as of yesterday, September 7th. We have contacted anyone today who may have been considered a close contact of this student. It is a parent’s choice to keep their child home if they been notified as a close contact.

COVID-19 Update as of 9-7-2021 The following positive cases have been reported to us as of today's date: 1. A parent of an elementary student called and notified the school today that their child tested positive since we have been out as of last Tuesday. This student was last at school on Friday, August 27th. 2. A parent of a JH student called and notified the school today that their child tested positive since we have been out as of last Tuesday. This student was last at school on Friday, August 20th.
