Spring Band Concert

LC Community-

What a great night at the Leverett’s Chapel ISD Spring Band Concert! It is always special to hear our band students perform from 5th grade through high school. One of my favorite things each year is hearing the improvement from our younger bands between the Christmas concert and the Spring concert.

Our 5th Grade Beginner Band did a great job opening the concert with performances of Epic Battle 3000, Warp Speed, Goblin Dance, and Zombie Stomp. It was exciting to hear how far these students have come this school year.

The 6th Grade Band continued the evening with Star Wars, Blackmoon March, Dragonblood, and Pixels. Their sound and confidence continues to improve each time they perform.

The JH/HS Varsity Band closed the concert with Armory, Thrill Ride, Alarm, Fireball, It Is Well, and the LC Fight Song (My favorite).

Great job to all of our band students on an outstanding performance. Your hard work and dedication continues to make LC proud. Thank you to Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Deveraux for the leadership and time you pour into our students each day. The success of our band program is a reflection of your commitment to kids and to excellence.

I also want to recognize and thank our senior band students: Itzel Mata, Thomas Johnson, Maria Contreras, Areli Castillo, Alyvia Page, DeWaylon Brown, and Bubba Tryon.

Thank you for being leaders and mentors for the younger students in the program. You have represented Leverett’s Chapel well, and your impact will continue long after graduation.

Small school. Big dreams. Bold futures.

Go Lions!
