Last night, our high school boys' baseball season came to an end in the bi-district round against the Avalon Eagles. The outcome was not what we had hoped for, but that does not take away from the way this group competed all season long. I am very proud of our players and coaches. This team showed heart every time they stepped on the field. They competed the right way, they stayed together, and they played until the final out. That speaks volumes about their character and about the overall school culture we are building here at Leverett’s Chapel.
I want to recognize our three seniors, Ethan Vaden, Bubba Tryon, and Andrea Coraglia. Thank you for the leadership you provided and for the way you represented our school. I wish each of you the very best as you finish out your senior year. I also want to thank Head Coach Jonathan Hughes and Assistant Coach Dawson Blear for their leadership and professionalism throughout the season.
We are proud of this team. We are proud of how they represented Leverett’s Chapel, their families, and our community.
