Today was a great day at LC! Our PreK students visited the band hall to learn about the xylophone as part of their letter of the week, X. Our 6th-grade band performed for them, which made the experience even more meaningful. Our Kindergarten and 2nd-grade students enjoyed Easter egg hunts in the auditorium. These moments help build connections and make school a place students enjoy. In the classroom, Mrs. Batie’s students worked on energy models, exploring biomass, wind, geothermal, solar, and hydropower. This is the type of learning that prepares students for the future.
We are thankful for our teachers and the work they do each day. Most importantly, we are thankful for you. Thank you for trusting us with your children every day. That responsibility is something we take seriously.
