Palynn Butler earned 4th place in the 181-pound weight class. She finished the meet with a strong total of 745 pounds.
Kynleigh Peery competed in the 181-pound weight class and finished 10th with a total of 610 pounds. She showed determination and continued to compete on every lift.
Deysi Perez also stepped onto the regional platform and gave her best effort. Competing at this level takes courage and preparation.
When I was coaching, powerlifting was quite possibly my favorite sport. Because of that, it always excites me to see our students step on the platform and compete well. I want to thank these young ladies who competed at the regional meet. I also want to thank every member of the Leverett’s Chapel powerlifting team who lifted for LC this year. Their commitment and work throughout the season represent our school and community in a positive way.
Go Lions!
