The Rusk County Youth Project Show will take place February 23 through February 28 at the Rusk County Youth Expo Center located at 3303 FM 13 West in Henderson. I would like to invite our community to come out and support the students of Leverett’s Chapel ISD and all of the students across Rusk County.
We will have sixteen students representing LC this year. They will showcase livestock trailers, feed trailers, a deer stand, porch tables, park benches, a picnic table, a dog house, a goat mineral feeder, a rabbit show table, creative arts projects, and broilers. These projects reflect months of preparation and a strong commitment to excellence.
The Youth Project Show is more than a competition. It is an opportunity for students to develop real-world skills and demonstrate responsibility and pride in their work. These experiences support our vision that every student will achieve academic excellence and graduate prepared to shape their future with confidence and purpose.
I encourage everyone to attend next week. It is always a great time for our county. You will see outstanding craftsmanship and strong character on display. Most importantly, you will see young people working hard and representing their schools with pride.
