Last week, in San Antonio, Mrs. Amanda Johnson and Mr. Ralph Deveraux proudly accepted our 2025 ATSSB Outstanding Performance Series State Winner and State Runner-Up plaques at the Texas Music Educators’ Association Convention and Clinic. These awards represent excellence at the highest level for 1A schools in Texas. The Outstanding Performance Series is a rigorous, multi-level process that advances from Region to Area and ultimately to State. Only the top performances in Texas earn this distinction. To be recognized as both a State Winner and a State Runner-Up is an extraordinary accomplishment for our band program and for Leverett’s Chapel ISD. This honor reflects the discipline, preparation, and commitment to excellence of our students and directors.
