We will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair onsite December 6-10. It will be open after the Elementary Christmas Concert and the Band Concert. The money spent at Book Fair results in books for the School Library so we appreciate all your support. I will share more details after Thanksgiving.

The LC JH/HS band will be leaving tomorrow at 3:45 pm for the football play off game. They need to wear band t-shirt and jeans. Please have jackets/hoodies etc…We will provide food on the way to the game. If they want any extra they will be responsible for that. The game will be at Prairiland ISD.

LC Football Playoff Information: Our LC Lions Football Team will have their 1st round playoff game against St. Jo tomorrow night, November 12th. The game will take place at Prairiland High School. Kickoff will be at 7:00. The address to the HS is: 466 FM 196 South Pattonville, TX 75648 We will be the visiting team. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. Tickets will be sold at the gate. Good luck to our Lions in their travels tomorrow night!!

Playoff Volleyball Game Information: Our Lady Lions Volleyball Team will have a Regional Quarterfinals match against Sulphur Bluff at Pittsburg High School tomorrow evening (November 9th). The match will get started at 6:00 PM. The doors will open at 5:15 PM. Pittsburg ISD has informed us that they will NOT be accepting cash to pay for tickets at the door. You must either purchase your tickets in advance online or purchase at the door with a credit card ONLY. For this reason, we will NOT bring a fan bus for this game. Congratulations Lions way to perform last night and beat Fruitvale to head into the playoffs! The Lions will play Saint Jo in Prairieland Friday at 7, come support!

Our Lion's Football Team will play their final regular season football game tonight at Fruitvale. Kickoff will be at 7:30. We wish good luck to our guys tonight!

Pep Rally is Friday, November 5th @ 2:30 p.m.

We are accepting monetary donations for the LCISD Angel tree at this time. All donations are greatly appreciated and all funds raised go directly to those in need. Donations may be given in the elementary and junior high/high school office. Please contact dmcchristian@leverettschapelisd.net if you have any questions.

Our Lady Lions Volleyball Team will be traveling to Winona High School for their area playoff match tomorrow night (November 4th) against Fruitvale. The match will get started at 6:00. We will be the home team. Tickets will be sold at the door as well as purchased online. Adult tickets are $5 and student tickets are $3. Masks are optional. There will be concession available. We will also have a student fan bus leaving the school at 5:00 from the top parking lot. Parent permission forms are available in the HS office. Students MUST have a parent permission form signed and returned in order for them to ride the bus. Students must also have their own money for their ticket as well as concession food. The fan bus will not be stopping to buy food. The school's phone service and Internet service are back up and working. If you need to call the school today, everything should be up and working like normal for you to call the school number.

The wind today has apparently knocked out the school’s phone lines and Internet service. We have been told by our provider that it could be out all day long. We will still release school today at 2:30. If you need to call the school, you can call Mr. Everett’s number at 903-808-0182. The cell phone service has been spotty as well. Just letting you know in case he does not answer.

LC Announcements for today: 1. There will be an early release from school today at 2:30 to prepare for our Fall Fest. Busses will run at that time as well. 2. Fall Fest will be held this evening from 5:30-7:30 3. No pep rally today 4. No school tomorrow, October 29th. This was a designated school holiday on our school calendar this year. 5. We will have our final home football game of the year tomorrow night against Campbell. Kickoff will be at 7:00. Good luck to our Lions! 6. Tomorrow night's game will be our senior night as well. Our seniors will be recognized during pregame starting at approximately 6:45.

Announcements: LC ISD will have an early release from school tomorrow, October 28th, at 2:30 PM. Buses will run at that time. The reason for this early release has to do with our Fall Fest. The staff needs time to set up all the booths and prepare for Fall Fest tomorrow evening. Fall Fest will be held tomorrow from 5:30-7:30 PM. Most of the booths will be set up in the big gym. We hope to see everyone out tomorrow evening to enjoy the Fall Fest since we did not have an opportunity to celebrate it last year due to COVID-19.

Senior parents and Seniors: Please complete your FAFSA and give proof of your completion to Ms. McChristian by October 28 so that you can get your $$$! If you or your parents have questions or need help, Mrs. Challis will be here on Tuesday, October 26, to assist you.

LC HS Football Update: Our scheduled district football game that was to be played tonight at Savoy has been cancelled. Savoy has had to forfeit the game. At this time, there are no plans to reschedule the game. We will still go forward with our HS pep rally this afternoon. The pep rally will get started at 12:38.

LC Reminders: 1. We will host our first district football game tonight against Union Hill. Kickoff will be at 7:00. Good luck to our guys tonight! 2. All next week, LC ISD will be closed for our Fall Break. There will be no school from October 11-15. School will resume again on Monday, October 18th at normal hours. All scheduled sporting events will still take place during our Fall Break. We hope everyone has a relaxing break from school!

Varsity Football Game Change: Leverett's Chapel @ Savoy has been moved to Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. The Pep Rally will coincide with the game change. (12:38-1:08)
