Dear LC Community, It was my hope that an extra day off this weekend would slow down our COVID spike. Unfortunately, it has not. We have had some teachers notify us today that they tested positive over the weekend as well as a few notify us today of a positive result today. In addition to the staff, we've had more students test positive as of today. When they test positive, their siblings must go home as well. This has caused a major hit to our attendance. For this reason, I have decided to close the school down starting tomorrow, Wednesday, January 19th - Friday, January 21st. We will have normal school hours as of today. School will resume like normal on Monday, January 24th. During this closure, the school will get a deep cleaning. I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause but we need everyone to get better so the school can get back to normal. An automated all-call phone call will be sent out at some point today to notify you of this information as well. Josh Johnson Superintendent
