The Varsity football game scheduled for next week with Union Hill has been moved to Thursday. The kick-off will be at 7:00 p.m.
This change was mandated by the East Texas Chapter of Football Referees.

Good afternoon,
I wanted to send a quick email so everyone is all on the same page. Tuesday, I made an appointment in Kilgore at Quick Visit for any student that needs a physical (7th, 9th, & 11th graders). The appointment is for 8:30 am. We will be transporting the students on a school bus to the appointment.
The clinic emailed me all paperwork they will need for their visit. I will make copies and have them in Mr. Everett’s office for the students to pick up on Monday. Please make sure the students get the paperwork. We must have the consent form signed for us to take them to get the physical Tuesday.
We will leave from the parking lot at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday. Those physicals are for 7th 9th 11th grade students who plan on playing sports and or band this year.
Reminder: All 7th, 9th, and 11th graders planning on participating in band or athletics this year will need to get a physical before you will be able to participate. Please contact Mrs. Johnson or Coach Hopkins at the school (903) 834-3181.
Dear LC Community,
I wanted to take this opportunity to address a concern that many of you have expressed to me and/or other members of this community.
Many of you are worried that Leverett's Chapel ISD will be closing. That is simply not the case. We will have school this year! Again, Leverett's Chapel is not closing! Our start date for students will be Monday, August 15, 2022, as originally scheduled. Our entire school staff is excited and looking forward to the 2022-2023 school year, myself included!
I also want to express my sincere appreciation for all the love and support you have shown me and our school over the years, especially this last month. Your kind and motivating words have meant a great deal. Leverett's Chapel holds a special place in my heart, and it is my hope that I continue to be a part of the LC Family for many years to come.

Dear LC Community,
The school will be closed from July 1st through the 5th to celebrate the independence of the United States of America. The school will reopen on Wednesday, July 6, with normal Summer hours.

Due to illness, the Leverett's Chapel ISD Administration office will be closed today, June 24, 2022. The office will resume normal summer hours on Monday, June 27, 2022. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Due to a strong chance of severe weather tomorrow, the High School Graduation will be held in the auditorium. Graduation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 8:00 p.m.
Do not forget that Kindergarten graduation is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. tomorrow morning in the auditorium, and the 8th grade graduation will follow at 10:30 a.m.
And finally, please remember that Tuesday, May 24, 2022, is a 12:30 early release for the school. Buses will run at approximately 12:35.

Congratulations to Bailea Reeves. She will graduate from Kilgore College with an Associate of Arts degree Friday, May 13, 2022, at 6:00. She will receive her first college diploma prior to her high school graduation. Way to go Bailea!

We want to say congratulations to Nathan Pierson for qualifying for the State Track Meet in Austin!!
Nathan placed 2nd place at the Regional Meet in both the 110 Hurdles and the 300 Hurdles.
Nathan is set to race on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 5:45 p.m. at the University of Texas' Mike A. Myers Stadium.

We would like to congratulate Leverett's Chapel's newest Greater Longview Organization for Business and Education (GLOBE) Teachers of the Year, Debra Albertson and Marcia Rogers!!!
Ms. Albertson and Mrs. Rogers were honored at a special reception on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in the Allen Family Student Center at LeTourneau University. They were presented with $200 gift cards donated by Brookshires's Foods along with a certificate.
