SHAC has a meeting Monday 2/27/23 at 4:00 in the Elementary Building. SHAC is the school health advisory council. Our SHAC will have a presentation from Christy’s Safe Haven which teaches information on puberty, life-skills, and sexual health. Everyone is welcome to come. Last night, February 21, 2023, the LC Board of Trustees unanimously voted to move to a four-day school week beginning in the 2023-2024 school year. LCISD would like to thank everyone that participated in the surveys and the community meeting. Your input and perspective were greatly valued and appreciated.
In the coming weeks, the LC staff and administration will finalize a school calendar for the Board’s final approval in March.

Due to hazardous road conditions for many of our staff traveling into LC and predicted worsening weather, Leverett's Chapel will be closed Wednesday, February 1, 2023. The safety of our students and staff is our number one priority.

Due to the forecasted below freezing weather conditions tonight, Leverett’s Chapel ISD will have a two hour delayed start for tomorrow, Wednesday, February 1st. Buses will run two hours later than normal, and classes will start at 10:00 am. We will continue to monitor the weather conditions and send out updates as needed.

This message is a reminder that on Friday, December 16, 2022, Leverett's Chapel ISD will have a 12:30 p.m. early release to commence Christmas Break.
Buses will run at approximately 12:36 p.m. Students will return to school during regular school hours on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

The LC Christmas band concert will be Monday, December 12th starting at 6:00PM. This will be for grades 5-12th. We will begin with 5th grade band followed by 6th grade band and ending with JH/HS(7-12). Please have students to the band hall at 5:30PM. Thank you! 🎵🎵
